When I compare different brands and models of copy machines, how do I know which ones are the best?

There is a company by the name of Buyers Laboratory Inc. that has been independently testing and rating office copiers for over 45 years. Today, BLI remains the leading authority and provider of critical intelligence in the office copier industry and continually renews its commitment to provide the highest level of copier testing and rating for business consumers. BLI is completely independent in all of their testing processes and subsequent reporting on office copiers. All of their copy machine evaluations are conducted by highly experienced employees in there on-site testing facility where they evaluate and report on hundreds of new copiers, copier printers, copier fax and copier scanners each year. With over four decades of leading the product testing field, BLI is the recognized expert in the office copier industry. With proven, controlled techniques and accurate reporting, Buyers Laboratory Inc. provides you with the most credible source- allowing you to make informed and profitable business decisions about your next office copier.
Digital Copier Supercenter subscribes to a very comprehensive group of tests conducted by BLI each year. We do this so we can sell the best in class office copiers available from each of the six manufacturers we represent- Canon ImageRUNNER, Ricoh Aficio (Lanier, Gestetner, and Savin), Konica-Minolta BizHub, Sharp Digital imager and Toshiba e-Studio. You can ask our professional sales staff for a BLI report on any of the office copiers you are considering. The report usually is derived from an extensive three month testing period in one of BLI’s on-site testing labs. The report will first consist of a general appraisal- its’ overall rating against other office copiers in its segment. Then the lab test will go over specific ratings in each of the following categories: (1) Ease of Operation, (2) Paper Capacity, (3) Connectivity-network print, scan and fax, (4) Price vs. Performance, (5) Shortcomings and (6) Price Analysis and Summary. The report is normally around 20 pages and will confirm or maybe change your mind about the office copier you are considering.
